Here we have attempted to assemble useful and relevant information involving selected Rural Electric and Rural Telephone
Cooperatives involved in litigation.
This section covers general information on these Coops; for information specific to the litigation see the
Litigation section.
We emphasize that there are dozens if not hundreds of lawsuits involving such cooperatives and we make no attempt to cover or list all of them: Only those most interesting and that are representative of the issues involved in litigating against the industry.
We
don't
represent that these are all the Coops involved in litigation nor do
we claim that the assertions in the pleadings are all true and
correct. They are, however, a matter of the public record.
But
we do believe this is is useful to the current and former patrons or "members" of these Coops and representative of what is occurring in the courts involving the industry.
